There will be basic lighting around the festival to ensure that patrons can move about freely and safely. You must ensure that within your site you have adequate lighting to work safely.
While Easterfest does not accept any responsibility for any goods left on the premises, there will be 24hr security around the site during the festival.
What about vehicle access?
Due to the significant size of Easterfest there are restrictions on vehicle access during the event. Deliveries to the site during the event (Fri – Sun) will only be allowed vehicle access between 6am and 8am daily. If this time schedule is a problem you must talk to us in advance.
Each site holder will be given one car pass, which will allow them to park one vehicle as near as possible to their site on the ring road but can only enter the site between 6am and 8am daily. Please ensure you notify your staff that parking onsite is not available but there are plenty of parks within a 5min walk in the CBD.
Minimum daily trading hours are as follows - you MUST remain open for the duration of this time
A financial penalty of $110 will apply in each instance of not being open during these times.

All sites must have public liability insurance (minimum $10million). Please fax/post/upload a copy of certificate of currency or public liability policy to Easterfest prior to Friday 1st March 2013.
Signage at your site must be contained within the boundary of your site. It must not intrude into any walkway between sites or into thoroughfares in the interest of workplace health and safety.
Each catering site will receive 1 x wheelie waste bin and 1 x Recycling wheelie bin, which will be emptied once daily. If you generate garbage in excess of this you will be required to dispose of it yourself or incur an additional fee for Easterfest to remove it for you. General festival sites may request a wheelie bin if necessary to be emptied once daily.
Condition of Sale
Vendors are not permitted to display any items that would offend the events core constituency and/or be in opposition to the events traditional Christian values. Easterfest retains the right to enforce this policy.
Distribution of material
You are permitted to distribute fliers, information etc from within the boundaries of your allocated site, however you are not permitted to move outside your site area, or block pedestrian traffic to distribute information.
This condition will be enforced at Easterfest, and site holders may be penalised and/or banned from future events if found to be in breach of this site condition.
Music or video/DVD recordings must not be played back at an excessive volume, and if you wish to use these devices you must be willing to cooperate with Easterfest staff in regards to noise levels.
The Queens Park precinct of Easterfest is fully ticketed so everyone working at your site will require a ticket. Easterfest will supply 3 x adult 3 day passes or equivalent single day passes for each site that is approved. If you think you will need more tickets to operate your site you must discuss this upon acceptance of your application.
All 3 day passes can be exchanged for the equivalent in adult single day passes
i.e. 1 x 3 day pass = 1 x Friday, 1 x Saturday, 1 x Sunday.
Camping upgrades for the Queens Park campsite may be purchased for $35+Booking Fee per person and can only be applied to a 3 day pass.
All site holders MUST have a festival ticket to access their site. Additional passes can be purchased at full price from www.easterfest.com
Premium ticket discounts
In order to encourage the public to purchase tickets prior to the event we have implemented a ‘premium’ ticket, which allows the holder access to extra shows, artist signings, earlier entrance to Mainstage and discounts at vendors.
There is a section on the 'Expression of Interest' form giving you the opportunity for extra promotion by offering a special discount or deal for Easterfest premium ticket holders.
· Deals must be structured for up to 1/3 of our crowd to use and be able to used multiple times.
· Users will be identified by a separate gold armband.
· You cannot specify a minimum spend to qualify for the deal/discount
· Easterfest will only promote deals that are of a sufficient value to the premium ticket holder.
· Easterfest will give preference to caterers & site holders who are prepared to offer deals/discounts in line with the above conditions.
