For those arriving into Cambridge on the conference eve (Tuesday 24th March), we have a few social events organised for meeting fellow attendees and exploring the local area. This includes two performances of Ambulation, a sound walk created by sound artist Tim Shaw (http://tim-shaw.net/). These will be starting and finishing at the conference venue, and will involve going for a 30 minute walk around Cambridge listening to a live audio feed through wireless headphones of the immediate surroundings, which will be processed, layered and mixed live by Tim.
Ambulation will run twice on the eve of the conference at 16:00 and again at 18:00, and there will be a maximum of 10 places per walk. Please use the form below to sign-up for a walk.
